Performance That is Smooth as It Is Powerful

In regards to fuel-efficiency, the Equinox offers an array of engine options with a standard turbocharged 1.5-liter with high city and highway mpg. The Escape also boasts a 1.5-liter turbo engine, however it comes out slightly behind in regards to city and highway mpg. With lower city and highway mpg, the Ford Escape provides slightly more horsepower than the Chevrolet Equinox.

However, the Equinox is slightly higher in terms of acceleration. The Jeep Cherokee base trim option doesn't provide a standard turbo engine and its city and highway mpg comes out slightly lower than both the Escape and the Equinox. The standard four-cylinder engine makes it difficult for the Cherokee to get up to speed. It also generates a lower fuel economy for the Cherokee. However there are more available engines for the Jeep Cherokee that provides better towing than what is available with the standard options.

All three SUV models offer quality handling to create a smooth driving experience. The athletic build of each model handles the bumps in the road as smooth as a luxury car. The powerful diesel engine of the Chevrolet Equinox allows Chevy drivers to take on the turns with quality performance capabilities that make handling a breeze .
